Common Questions
Every home is different, so we price from an on site walkthrough rather than a square foot rate over the phone. As a guide, a full house interior runs $8,000 to $20,000, a typical exterior $7,500 to $12,000, and a kitchen cabinet refinish $4,000 to $7,500. Smaller projects sit below those, and our minimum job is $3,000. Every estimate is free, itemised by surface and product, handed to you at the walkthrough, and the number we give you is the number you pay.
Late May through September is the reliable window on this side of the Fraser. Coastal air keeps north facing walls damp well past sunrise, and a coat applied to a surface that has not properly dried is the single most common reason exterior paint fails early here. We schedule exteriors around drying windows rather than forcing a coat on a damp morning, and we wash and treat for mildew before any primer goes on. Interiors, cabinets and stain work run year round.
Three years on exteriors, interiors and cabinets, covering peeling, blistering and flaking caused by our workmanship on properly prepared surfaces. If it fails, we come back and fix it at no charge. What it does not cover: staining on exterior work, water damage or water related damage on interiors and cabinets, and nicks or chips from everyday traffic on cabinets. We carry $5M liability insurance and full WorkSafeBC coverage behind all of it, and the terms are written into your paperwork rather than promised verbally.
